Day 2 31/10/2013 Nairobi, Kenya - Samburu Game Reserve
Drive for approximately six hours northwards via Nanyuki and Mt Kenya, across the Equator and onto the Samburu National Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve provides some the best and most colourful game viewing in the country. Lunch shall be taken en-route, arriving in Samburu for a leisurely afternoon game drive into camp.

Full day of game-viewing in the Samburu Game Reserve. Samburu is home to six special big game species rarely seen elsewhere: Grevy's Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk, Guenther's Dik-Dik and Beisa Oryx.
Opportunity to learn about Samburu tribal culture.

A six hour drive, with picnic lunch en-route, via The Great Rift Valley and Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful volcanic scenery, rolling grasslands and plenty of big game.
