Travel Documentation Notice - Traveler Resources
Airline Travel – The Air Transportation Authority of the United States require that all airline passengers 18 years of age and older must have a government issued photo identification that exactly matches the name on the ticket or you may be denied boarding.
Proof of Citizenship Requirements:
Passports – International travelers must have a valid passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months after the return date of the trip.
Country Entrance Requirements – Every country has different requirements for entry and can be changed with no advance notice. Some countries will accept proof of citizenship and others will require a Visa. It is the responsibility of the travelers to maintain a current understanding of the entrance requirements for the countries they will be visiting. Spears Travel acts as an agent in providing current information to our clients, and assistance in obtaining this information or documentation, but in no ways guarantees client’s admission into other countries.
Minor Children – Some countries including Mexico and Canada require written consent of both parents for entrance of a minor child less than 18 years of age. If minor is with one parent, that parent must hold a notarized letter of consent from absent legal parent or copy of legal document giving that parent sole custody. If one parent is deceased a copy of the death certificate is necessary. If minor is without legal parents a notarized letter of consent must be submitted by legal guardian. All children under 18, including infants, need a birth certificate. The birth certificate must be Certified State issued with a raised seal.

It is the client’s responsibility to keep current on any travel advisories and make their own determination in regards to traveling to these areas.
